How It Started. How It’s Going

February 2025

A year ago, I was standing on this bridge, decompressing after exiting Sellick Partnership a month earlier.

After 22 years at the helm, and despite the planning around my departure, it was a strange sensation to be outside of the company I called my fifth child.

A year to the day, I'm back on the same bridge, and heading up MJS Partnership, and enjoying myself thoroughly building another business.

It's hard work - but one of the luxuries I'm fortunate enough to enjoy is flexibility - with an appreciation of balancing work, family, my other business interests.

I've struggled at times - like everybody does - and it's not been without challenges and worries, or frustrations. But it's a been a good year!

It wasn't intentional to take a black and white photo 12 months ago, and a colour one today.

But it is a nice contrast and lovely to be here with sunny skies and a clear outlook. 😎

Have a great weekend and take care of yourselves, Jo. x
